National Institute of blood diseases and Bone marrow transplant is a facility located in Karachi, Pakistan. This facility is exclusively established for the management of blood diseases, 25 years back by Dr Tahir Sultan Shamsi.
The services that we are providing are inpatient and outpatient departments, bone marrow transplantation ICU, haemophilia and thalassaemia care centre, state of the art laboratory, Blood bank, apheresis facility, fetomaternal medicine and pharmacy.
We are pleased to announce that we have now set up NIBD, BMT (Bone Marrow Transplant) Lahore Campus on the third floor of Horizon Hospital, Johar Town, Lahore. This is to provide facilities to the patients of Punjab and KPK who are suffering from various blood diseases.
Bone Marrow Transplant facility is totally under the direct supervision of Dr Tahir Sultan Shamsi and other well-known, qualified and experienced haematologists and other trained and experienced medical and paramedical personals. NIBD BMT Lahore campus is fully capable of catering to all types of blood diseases, both benign and malignant.
The services we offer here are, allogeneic and autologous bone marrow transplant, chemotherapy for leukaemias and lymphomas, blood transfusion centre, inpatient and outpatient departments, treatment of multiple myeloma, bone marrow aspiration and trephine biopsy, molecular and genetic testing of thalassaemia, haemophilia, acute and chronic leukaemia and lymphoma, HLA typing, etc.
