Horizon Hospital is a purpose-built medium-sized hospital located in Johar Town Lahore. It is 55 bedded modern and well-equipped hospital offering a wide range of healthcare facilities. The idea behind the establishment of this hospital is to provide patients with the best possible consultant-delivered care in an ethical and fiscally responsible manner. The hospital has multiple specialities, but we are distinguished in joint replacement in orthopaedics and cancer surgery in urology and general surgery.
The hospital has well-designed Out-Patient clinics, In-Patients rooms for all categories of patients and state of the art Operating Theatre Facilities. Hospital has 24/7 ER, ICU, Pharmacy, laboratory and Blood Bank facilities. The hospital has a fully equipped Molecular Laboratory which performs PCR, rapid antigen and antibody (IgG & IgM) testing for Covid-19. It also provides Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C tests along with many others.
The hospital provides Dialysis Facilities for patients suffering from Acute Kidney Injury or Chronic Renal Failure. Dental surgery clinic includes scaling, polishing, root canal treatment, crown and dentures. Horizon hospital also houses a Gymnasium and a well-developed Physiotherapy Department.
The hospital is pleased to develop a collaboration with the National Institute of Blood Diseases and Bone Marrow Transplantation. As a result, NIBD has established a centre at Horizon Hospital to treat blood dyscrasias and perform Bone Marrow Transplantation.
Horizon Hospital is also the first-ever hospital in Lahore to establish a dedicated DAY SURGERY UNIT (DSU). The purpose of this unit is to treat those patients who need short admission for a surgical procedure or endoscopy and can be safely discharged home on the day of surgery. This unit works in an integrated manner as a “One Stop Management Unit” for the patients. In addition to the low cost, it has potential benefits of Low incidence of serious morbidity, thrombo embolism, and hospital-acquired infections. It also causes minimal disruption to the patient’s life.
